Expensive Weekend

Last weekend was an expensive weekend. Now, I’m not talking New York expensive (Myrtle Beach is more my speed), but it was pretty damned expensive! My girlfriend and I took a road trip to Edmonton, AB. Her family is there, and I have many friends there.

I knew in advance that there would be a lot of dining out and a lot of liquor expenses. I was actually pretty amazed that I managed to keep the expenses under $200 for the entire trip, but I did.

I feel a little bad about spending the money, but sometimes it’s worth it just to take a break from the routine. Since I haven’t been spending too much, I’ve been relying on DVDs and books for entertainment, so getting out to some pubs and restaurants with friends was well worth it.

Translation Services in Michigan

anthropogenics:

I recently read an article on companies that goofed up their translations, which was provided by a Michigan language translation agency. It went on to show how when you translate something like a slogan to Spanish, Chinese or any other language, it often does not pass along the same message. Also, many areas have special customs and beliefs, which need to be paid attention to before marketing to them.

How Has Wire Rod Helped You?

Wire rod does its part to help thousands of businesses around the world, and it stretches much farther than that. Barbed wire fence, the transportation of goods, and the very bridges and buildings we use daily. If chocolate pudding gets its own holiday, shouldn’t wire rod? What do you think about steel and everything it has to offer? The best building material around? Probably the strongest, but is it also the prettiest? For more information on wire rod, visit Capital Steel & Wire for their products. All of us are biased but we’d love to hear your own thoughts!
